I love cameras that work. I am not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination but I like capturing my kids doing weird or random things like this:

I was excited a month or so ago when Woot! was offering a cheap and refurbished Kodak EasyShare c190 for fifty bucks. I got a purple one because I love purple. It’s small enough to fit in my purse and takes decent pictures and video.  It’s a better indoor camera than my Droid, which takes great outside shots but struggles to capture kids in motion indoors in low lighting, as evidenced in the above photo.  And it’s a step up from my previous Kodak EasyShare which is somewhat bulky and has a lens cap that won’t stay put.

The new camera came in handy when our house got graffitied with a phallis last week and we had to make a police report. I won’t show you that picture, but here is a picture of my coffee cup from just now:
